School plans to add wording to student handbook regarding reasonable suspicion

Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation Board members are looking at another way to protect the corporation, staff and students as they reviewed and approved wording that will be added to the student handbook.
During a regular school board meeting Monday evening, superintendent Dan Foster presented the idea of board policy regarding reasonable suspicion in regards to students being intoxicated.
The policy was discussed by the school board association and was presented to the school board attorney for suggestions.
Foster recommended that if the board approves the policy change, it would be for all students and immediately added to the student handbook.
The change was approved and will be added to the student handbook.
