Danny Tabler

Danny Tabler, 64, of Valparaiso, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 11. 

He was born on May 5, 1953, to Dale and Ruth Tabler. Danny grew up in Kouts, raised his family in Buffalo, and retired to Valparaiso. 

Danny enjoyed fishing and spending time on the Tippecanoe River. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson. Danny will be sadly missed.

Survives include his daughter Leila [Dan] Zaragoza of LaPorte; sons: Jayson [Joy] Tabler of Pulaski, and Nathan Tabler of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandson Zakary Tabler of Pulaski; former spouse Jodi Tabler of Monticello; father Dale Tabler of Valparaiso; sister Rita Whited; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Tabler; and siblings Judy and Jimmy. 

No services will be held. The family will host a memorial gathering at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Tippecanoe River State Park.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
