Glenn Arthur Pierce Jr.

June 28, 1981 —Aug. 2, 2017

Glenn Arthur Pierce Jr., 36, of Winamac, passed away at 7:16 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at St. Vincent Kokomo Hospital in Kokomo.

Glenn was born on June 28, 1981, in Knox, to Glenn Arthur Pierce Sr. and Felicia M. (Graham) Pierce.

Glenn worked as a property manager in Peru.

Glenn was very resourceful in his outlook and approach to most any situation he encountered. His advice to others is a testament to that. Everyone who knew him well would agree that he could make the sweetest lemonade out of life’s lemons. He was kind and generous to the point of giving his last penny, if someone needed it more than he did. He would say that he would find a way to get by and get by he did. He loved life and wanted to help others. Glenn had a wish to one day have a small farm, complete with horses, cats, dogs, chickens and a fishing pond, where youngsters could go to learn independence, self-worth and personal life enhancement skills. His vision was to help troubled adolescents learn to cope and stay out of problems that so many face today as he did. Leaving a positive mark on at least one person’s life was what he wanted. He did that over and over again for so many people. Congratulations my son. May the flowers you planted bloom for all eternity.

He is survived by his parents Glenn Sr. and Felicia; twin children: Joseph and Gabrielle; sisters: Angie, Braylee, and Ayla; brothers: Brandon, Johnny, Joshua and Travis; and paternal grandfather Arthur.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at Frain Mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
