Harold Foust

Harold Foust, 78, of Rochester, passed away at 2:23 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 3, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 31, 1939, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Norman and Alice (Disinger) Foust.

Harold was a 1957 Kewanna High School graduate.

On June 19, 1957, he married Patricia “Pat” Larkin. She survives.

Harold was a lifelong farmer who was a member of the Rochester Eagles and the Rochester Moose. He was also an avid Indiana University basketball fan.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Pat Foust of Rochester; his children: Colleen [John] Keller of Winamac, Carla [Brian] McCormack of Culver and Jeff [Susan] Foust of Rochester; sister-in-law Bonnie Foust of Brownsburg; grandchildren: Jason Newman, Matt [Catie] Newman, Michael [Marielle] Keller, Austin [Emily] Foust and Kaitlin Foust.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Willard, David and Marion Foust.

Visitation was from 4-8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 7, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. Services were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Metzger officiated. Burial took place at Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Hospital in C/O the Rochester Oncology Department and/or Kindred Hospice.
