Kenneth E. Scholz

Kenneth E. Scholz, 72, of Wheatfield, was called home on Dec. 2, 2017. 

Kenneth was born on Jan. 9, 1945, to the late Richard C. and Edith A. (Timm) Scholz. He married Shirley J. Foust on April 6, 1968, at the Medaryville Christian Church. Shirley survives. 

Kenneth was a farmer and had worked at Plymouth Tube Co in Winamac. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. 

He is survived by his wife Shirley J. Scholz of Wheatfield; sons: Douglas [Jennifer] Scholz of Ruffin, North Carolina, Thomas [Annie] Scholz of Medaryville, and Travis [Rachel] Scholz of Lizton; daughter Jessica [Charles] Misch of Wheatfield; grandsons: Max Scholz and Garrett Scholz; granddaughters: Katie Scholz and Carly Scholz; and two sisters.             

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard C. and Edith A. (Timm) Scholz; son Scott Scholz; and brother Devon Scholz. 

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville, with Rev. Judith Doll officiating. Burial will take place at White Post Cemetery in Medaryville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
