Lorraine Lynn Walker

Lorraine Lynn Walker, 60, of Winamac, passed away at 11:46 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at her residence in Winamac. 

Lorraine was born on Jan. 15, 1956, in East Chicago. On May 5, 2001, she married Clyde Walker in Winamac. Clyde survives.

Lorraine was a school bus driver for 30 years altogether, with 20 years spent at Eastern Pulaski School Corporation.

She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Sitting on the back patio after a cookout with family was a highlight of her weekend.

Lorraine had an affinity for her animals, especially her late dog Spanky and her beloved Missy.

Family and friends were dearest to her heart. She will be loved and missed by many.

Survivors include her husband Clyde Walker of Winamac; sons: Jonathan [Holly] Stonebraker of Francesville, and Adam [Maritza] Walker of Virginia; daughter Heather Elaine Walker of South Carolina; seven grandchildren; brothers: Roy Stonebraker of Winamac, and George Stonebraker of Jensen Beach, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ona Mae Stonebraker; and one sister. 

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with visitation from 5 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or Pulaski Animal Center.
