Lucille Davis
Lucille Davis, 94, of Winamac, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville.
She was born on April 20, 1922, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, to the late John Scott and Mary (Spencer) Turner.
On June 1, 1941, she married Emory Davis in North Judson. He passed away on June 4, 2003. Lucille faithfully loved and served her Lord Jesus Christ and her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her sons: Kenneth Davis of Medaryville, Devon [Joann] Davis of Michigan, and Dewain [Laurie] Davis of Winamac; grandchildren: Kenneth Jr., Gary, Terry, Carrie, Michael, Kathy, Kim, Denise, Wendy, Amber, Brittany and Brandon; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Scott and Mary (Spencer) Turner; husband Emory Davis; daughter Patricia Ann Kroft; daughter-in-law Linda Davis; and nine siblings.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, and one hour prior to the services at the church Saturday. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Winamac Church of the Nazarene in Winamac. Rev. Thomas Dewlen officiated. Burial took place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac.
