Patricia L. “Pat” Goble

Patricia L “Pat” Goble, 79, of Pulaski, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at her home surrounded by family. 

Pat was born on April 13, 1938, in Pulaski to the late George F. and Clara L. (Mikoda) Crist. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1955. On April 12, 1958, Pat married Tom Goble at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He survives. 

Pat was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Parish Council and the Christian Mothers. She was a retired school bus driver and cook at Eastern Pulaski schools. 

Pat enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and canning. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed. 

She is survived by her husband Tom Goble of Pulaski; sons: Richard “Rick” Goble of Pulaski, and Randall “Randy” [Billie] Goble of Pulaski; daughter Rochelle “Shelly” Goble of Pulaski; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents George F. and Clara L. (Mikoda) Crist; daughter Roberta Goble; sons: Robert “Bob” Goble, Ronald “Ronnie” Goble and Roger Goble; and sisters: Gloria Hoffman and Cleo Hoffman. 

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A scriptural wake service was held at 4 p.m. Monday followed by a Christian Mothers service at the funeral home. A funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski. Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiated. Burial took place at St. Joseph Cemetery South in Pulaski. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Mothers, Alzheimer’s Association or Guardian Angel Hospice.
