Patricia May Bucks

Patricia May Bucks, 80, of Rochester, passed away at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, at We Belong Senior Home in Plymouth.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1941, in Winamac, and was the daughter of James R. and Marian M. (Barkdall) Boissier. On Dec. 6, 1969, at the Kewanna United Methodist Church, she married Larry Joe Bucks. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2017.

Patricia was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Kathy [Raymond] Franko of Winamac, Chris [Kim] Schramm of Winamac, Laura [J.T.] Mays of Winamac, and Susan [Jim] Downhour of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Debbie [Richard] Sargaent of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother James Boissier; sister Carol Boissier; and step-grandson Jerad Mays.

Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 at Kewanna IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna. 

Friends were invited to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home in Rochester.
