Patsy L. “Pat” Brew

Patsy L. “Pat” Brew, 80, of Winamac, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at her residence in Winamac. 

She was born on Feb. 26, 1936, to the late Lino and Eva (Miller) Salinas. 

Pat graduated from North Judson High School. She had worked at General Tire in Logansport for several years. She also was a produce manager at Sanders grocery in Winamac for several years. Pat married Roy “Pete” Brew on Aug. 1, 1970, in Royal Center. Pete survives. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winamac.

Pat enjoyed bowling, painting and cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband Roy “Pete” Brew of Winamac: sons: Robert [Tracey] Maddox of Easley, South Carolina, Ronald Maddox of Griffith, Raymond [Debi] Maddox of Bartlett, Tennessee, Randall Maddox of Valdosta, Georgia, and Richard [Monica] Maddox of Winamac; daughter Mary Brew of Florida; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister Gin [Fred] Worley of Chesterton; brother Mark [Brenda] Salinas of Winamac; and special friends: Jean Button and Evonne Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lino and Eva (Miller) Salinas; son Roy Brew Jr., brothers Percy Day, Roy Barron, John Day, Vidal Day, Darrell Miller, Fermine Salinas, Leroy Day and Ray Baron; and sisters: Florence Lopez and Dorothy Stepp. 

Visitation was 2-3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Pastor Mark Pilger officiated. Private burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac.
