Richard M. Fornal

Richard M. Fornal, 87, of Rochester, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 10:43 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, at his residence.

Born on July 2, 1930, in Chicago, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Matras) Fornal.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

On Sept. 5, 1953, he married Jean Summerlott. She survives.

Richard retired from Plymouth Tube Company in Winamac.

Survivors include his wife Jean of Rochester; daughter Terry Fornal of Winamac; sons: Michael [Rosemary] Fornal of Star City, John [Lisa] Fornal of Carmel, and Dennis Fornal of Rochester; brother Danny Fornal of Georgia; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services.
