Robert E. “Bobby” Parish

Robert E. “Bobby” Parish, 56, Winamac, formerly of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, at his residence in Winamac.

Born June 20, 1961, in Logansport, he was the son of Robert Lee and Lois Jayne (Hinkle) Parish. His mother survives, residing in Logansport.

Bobby graduated from Logansport High School. He was formerly employed at Standard Auto Parts and S&S Precast, both in Winamac.

In his younger years he had a lot of fun-loving days with friends. Bobby was a kind and generous person who loved his family very much.

He enjoyed many things, including gardening, hunting, trapping, fishing, camping and bowling.

Surviving are his daughter Keilly Parish of Syracuse (mother Michelle); sons: Jarrod Parish and Jesse Parish of Winamac (mother Tracey); stepson Jacob Franscoviak of Winamac; grandson Joesiah Parish; step-grandson Curtis Allen Franscoviak; sisters: Melinda Hinkle of Walton and Patty [Randy] Landis of Logansport; nieces and nephews: Kelli [Greg] Goodnight, Broc [Amanda] Hinkle, Tommy Tate, Andria Land, Amanda Michael and Rob Michael [fiance Alyssa Truax]; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father; and sister Cynthia K. “Cindy” Parish.

A memorial visitation was from 4-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Kroeger Funeral Home, followed by a scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Fr. Dominic Petan officiated. Interment, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
