Steven “Steve” Baldwin

July 1, 1952 — Sept. 23, 2021

Steven “Steve” Baldwin, 69, of Kewanna, passed away at 12:53 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23 at home.

Born on July 1, 1952, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Richard and Florence (Stepp) Baldwin.

He was a 1971 graduate of Kewanna High School. Steve worked for Galbreath in Winamac for 34 years. 

On Oct. 4, 1986, he married Pamela Shanks. He enjoyed golfing, and spending time spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Pam (Shanks) Baldwin of Kewanna; his children: Jennifer [Jeff] Dukes of Rochester, Scott Baldwin of Peru, Lisa Barr of Pisgah,  Alabama, Shawna [Jonathon] Amit of Anderson, and Scott [Gillian] Oliver of Fort Wayne; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and another great-grandchild on the way; siblings: Larry [Bev] Baldwin, Chuck [Barbi] Baldwin, Tami [Rich] Powell, and Deana [Bryan] Thomas; and his many nieces and nephews who will miss his antics and family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by grandson Colton James Baldwin. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at the Kewanna United Methodist Church.

Visitation was from 4 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the church. 

Burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, Kewanna.
