Terri L. Lynch

May 22, 1954 — Dec. 29, 2018

Mrs. Terri L. Lynch, 64, of Winamac, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at 12:15 a.m., Dec. 29, at her home.

On May 22, 1954, Terri was born in Rochester. She was the treasured daughter of Ronald Eugene and Carol Mae (Harris) Hamman. Growing up, she shared her childhood with two brothers, Scott and Mike. She graduated as valedictorian from Kewanna High School in 1973.

Terri and Edwin J. Lynch Jr. were married on Oct. 14, 1978, at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, Arizona. Sharing 40 years of life’s adventures, their union produced five children and eight grandchildren.

As a military spouse, Terri enjoyed both living in and traveling to many different locations within the United States and Europe. These experiences strengthened her bond with her family and helped foster her passion for cooking and baking. Her children and grandchildren looked forward to family celebrations, as much for her recipes and custom birthday cakes as for time spent with her family.

Since returning to the area in 1996, Terri spent her time managing EJ’s Flooring, a small locally owned business in Winamac. She was equally devoted to being there for her children and later her grandchildren, attending athletic and all school-related events.

Paramount in her life was her loving family. Left to cherish Terri’s memory are her husband Ed; daughters: Shannon [Micah] Cook of Winamac, and Heather [Joell] Grisel of Westfield; sons: Kyle [Sue] Lynch of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Eddie Lynch III of Winamac, and Sean Lynch [fiance Bryanna Hawley] of Naperville, Illinois; grandchildren: Brayden, Kamryn, Rylan, Maddox, Avery, Sofia, Carter and Ava Mae; father Ron Hamman of Kewanna; brother: Scott [Elena] Hamman of Orlando, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Terri in death are her mother; and brother Mike Hamman.

With respect to Terri’s wishes, her life celebration will be private.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
