Virginia Loehmer Mutt Lam

June 20, 1939 — Aug. 14, 2018

Virginia passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on Aug. 14, surrounded by her six children. She had been a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, for only six months before her death, having moved from San Diego, California.
Virginia was born the second of nine children on June 20, 1939, to Nicholas and Veronica (Schutz) Loehmer, in Strasburg, Illinois.
On Feb. 2, 1961, she married James Allen Mutt in Indianapolis. They moved to California where they lived their entire married life, raising their six children. James preceded her in death on April 4, 1980.
On Dec. 17, 2007, Virginia married George Edward Lam in San Diego, California. He was the father of four children. George passed away Jan. 6, 2018, at age 84.
Virginia is survived by her sons: Steven, Timothy and Patrick; daughters: Elizabeth, Anna and Catherine; and siblings: Ralph Loehmer, Raymond Loehmer, Daniel Loehmer, Loren Loehmer, Vivian Reinhold, Irene Forest and Lorette Watkins. She also leaves behind to mourn her loss her four grandchildren: Cameron, Nicolette, Skyler and Lola.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and sister Virgidelle Weasel.
She was laid to rest next to her husband James Allen Mutt in Lemon Grove, California.
