Virginia Mae Olson

Virginia Mae Olson, 81, of Fishers, formerly of Francesville, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 5, at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers. 

Virginia was born on July 12, 1937, in Arcola, Illinois, to the late Timothy and Mabel (Fulk) Logan. On Dec. 14, 1958, Virginia married the late Algot “Al” Olson in Tuscola, Illinois. He passed away on April 13, 2016. They were happily married for 57 years.

Virginia was a longtime member of the Medaryville Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her children: Dawn [Randy] Miller of Middlebury, Alicia [Marc] McClure of Indianapolis, and Eric [Traci] Olson of Abingdon, Maryland; grandchildren: Erica [James] Chidester, Zach [Emi] Miller, Hannah Olson, Alexis [Jeff] McCracken, Brianna Olson, Olivia [Barry] Rodriguez, Karisse Olson, Carli [Bryan] Pratt, Christian Olson and Kyle McClure; and great-grandchildren: Doris, Nathanael, Josiah, Ruth, Quinnley, Ethan and Merrin.

The family will be greeting friends and relatives prior to the service from 2-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, at 3:30 p.m. at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, 230 S. Brooks St., Francesville. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel. Private burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.
