NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Commissioners of Pulaski County, Indiana will receive sealed bids for Lawn Care of County Buildings up to the hour of 4:00 P.M. ET, Friday, May 3, 2019, at the office of the Pulaski County Auditor (c/o Pulaski County Commissioner’s) in the Pulaski County Courthouse, 112 East Main St. (Rm 200), Winamac, IN 46996; bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during the Commissioners Meeting on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 6:00 pm. All sealed bids must have the words ‘Lawn Care Bid’ on the envelope.

Bids received after such time will be returned unopened. Bids may be withdrawn prior to such time, but no bids shall be withdrawn thereafter.

GENERAL STATEMENTS

The Specifications Package can be obtained at the Maintenance Department Office in the County Annex Building, 125 South Riverside Dr., 3rd floor Room 302, Winamac, Indiana. Each bidder is responsible to inspect all County Buildings and sites to be familiar with each individual building and/or site Lawn Care needs. It is STRONGLY suggested that each bidder meet with the Pulaski County Maintenance Director to ascertain each locations unique terrain and requirements. Failure or omission of a prospective bidder to determine the lawn care needs of buildings and sites shall in no way relieve the prospective bidder from any obligation in respect to a submitted bid proposal. Bid will be in the form of per hour cost and also per property cost for Lawn Care.

The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, or errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt for bids.
