Preliminary Tax Abatement Resolution for

Metal Fab Engineering

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Pulaski County, Indiana, that the Pulaski County Council on 13 November 2017 adopted a Preliminary Resolution, 03-2017, designating as an Economic Recovery Area (ERA), for a period of twenty years, an area of land in Beaver Civil Township described as follows:

PARCEL 66-11-32-100-016.000-002, OWNED BY LESLIE P. & DEBRA KAY EZRA, AND PARCEL 66-11-32-100-015.000-002, LESLIE PAUL EZRA, BOTH COMMONLY KNOWN AS METAL FAB ENGINEERING, 9341 SOUTH STATE ROAD 39, WINAMAC; COMPRISING APPROXIMATELY 2.089 ACRES; AND LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 29 NORTH, RANGE 3 WEST.

Aforesaid ERA has been established for the purpose of achieving property-tax abatement in connection redevelopment or rehabilitation activities and with the installation of new manufacturing, research and development, logistical distribution, and information technology equipment on the property. 

A description of the affected area and a copy of the Preliminary Resolution are available at the County Auditor’s office and can be inspected there during regular business hours.

On Monday, 11 December 2017, at 7:00 p.m. EDT in the Commissioners’ Room of the Pulaski County Courthouse, 112 East Main Street, Winamac, the Pulaski County Council will conduct a public hearing to receive and to hear all remonstrances and objections, if any, to this project, and to consider a request for a Waiver of Non-Compliance to include previously acquired equipment, pursuant to IC 6-1.1-12.1-11.3, and to hear any objections thereto. At this time, the County Council will take final action on a Waiver of Non-Compliance and the Preliminary Resolution and either award or deny property-tax abatements as requested and described in a Statement of Benefits.
