LEGAL NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION

The voters of Pulaski County are notified by the county election board in accordance with Indiana Code 3-10-2-2 that a general election will be held in the county on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, with the polls open for voting from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., prevailing local time. 

In accordance with the list of candidates and the public questions certified to me by the Indiana election division or this county’s election board, and the certificates of candidate selection filed in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk of this county, candidates for the following offices will be on the general election ballot:

Constitutional Amendment - Public Question #1

Shall the Constitution of the State of Indiana be amended by adding a Section 39 to Article 1 to provide that the right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife shall be forever preserved for the public good, subject only to the laws prescribed by the General Assembly and rules prescribed by virtue of the authority of the General Assembly to:

(1) promote wildlife conservation and management; and

(2) preserve the future of hunting and fishing?
