UPDATE: Suspect captured

Rensselaer Police are asking for the assistance of residents as they are looking for a man who is considered armed and dangerous.  
Police are looking for Derak S. Wireman, 21, who is suspected of shooting into three residences in Rensselaer. Wireman is 5’10” and weighs about 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. 
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Wireman for three counts of criminal recklessness with a gun. 
Anyone who has information regarding the location of Wireman is asked to call the Rensselaer Police Department at 219-866-7602 or email Rensselaer Police Chief Jeff Phillips at jphillips@cityofrensselaer.com. 
Update: 
According to a press release from the Rensselaer Police Department, they received a tip on Feb. 3, from an anonymous caller that Wireman may have gone to Valley, Alabama. 
Using that information, police discovered Wireman may have a family member in Valley, Alabama. Copies of the warrant for his arrest as well as pictures of Wireman were sent to Valley Police Department.
On Feb. 4, Wireman was arrested by Valley Police.
