ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Charles Wilson #1 Regulated Drain Division 1 will be received, by Jenny Clark, at the office of the Cass County Surveyor, until 12:00 pm (noon) local time on April 4, 2016. Bids received will be publicly opened and read that afternoon. The Project consists of constructing 5,820 ft of 24 inch HDPE perforated plastic pipe with sock, 3,280 ft of 18 inch HDPE perforated plastic pipe with sock and 1,400 ft of 15 inch HDPE perforated plastic pipe with sock.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Banning Engineering, PC, 853 Columbia Rd, Suite 101, Plainfield, IN 46168. Plan sets are available beginning Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Issuing Office or from the Cass County Surveyor’s Office, 200 Court Park Room 306, Logansport, IN 46947 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Fee for a set of plans is $50.00.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 am local time on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Room 306, 200 Court Park, Logansport, IN 46947. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
