Man injured after house explodes

Emergency personnel were dispatched to 1756 E. 225 N. in the VanMeter Park area of Pulaski County shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday, July 18, after receiving a call that there had been an explosion at a residence.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Bobby Conley, 47, was inside the residence at the time of the explosion and sustained serious injuries. Conley was flown from the area to Chicago by LifeLine for further medical treatment. 
The home sustained serious structural damage.
At this time the sheriff’s office reports that there appears to be no criminal activity involved in the explosion. The cause is still under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office.
