Frank L. Winters
Frank L. Winters, 89, of Culver, formerly of Monterey, passed away Friday, June 12, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1936 in Winamac, to the late Daniel and Emma (Shorter) Winter. Frank married Joan L. Natke on May 28, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away on Dec. 19, 2022. Frank was a retired union painter and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac. He was a devoted husband and beloved father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by sons: Michael [wife: Julie] Winters, Lansing, Illinois and Brian [wife: Sally] Winters, Dyer; granddaughters: Marie Winters and August Winters; sister-in-law Diane Natke, Culver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by father Daniel Winter; mother Emma (Short) Winter Gregory; step-father Alvin Gregory; sons: James F. Winters and David J. Winters; granddaughter Caitlin Winters; sisters: Madeline Martin, Agnes Siemens, Sister Clarise Winter and Catherine Nufer; and brother Daniel Winter.
Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Winamac.
Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Winamac.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the form of Mass Intentions c/o St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac or St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Monterey.
