Ronald L. Hero
Ronald L. Hero, 86, of Winamac, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 10.
He was born on Jan. 24, 1940 in Hebron, to the late Chester and Adeline Brook Hero. On May 12, 1962, Ronald married Barbara J. Duncan in Dowagiac, Michigan. They shared 57 years of marriage. Ronald was a life long farmer and enjoyed being outdoors. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and dedicated most of his life to talking to people about the Bible. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by daughter Linda [Clifford, Jr.] Minter, Winamac; sons: Darryl [Berronica] Hero, Winamac and John Hero, Noblesville; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; sister Joan Shidler, Temple, Texas; brother Albert Hero, Sebring, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents: Chester and Adeline Brook Hero; and brothers: Virgil Hero and Grant Hero.
Private family graveside services will be held at the Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
Burial will take place at the Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
